²⁹ But Peter and the apostles answered, “^(A)We must obey God rather than men. ^30 (B)The God of our fathers ^(C)raised up Jesus, ^[a]whom you had ^(D)put to death by hanging Him on a ^[b]cross. ^31 (E)He is the one whom God exalted ^[c]to His right hand as a ^[d](F)Prince and a ^(G)Savior, to grant ^(H)repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
